Tuesday, July 12 Space Camp – “Launching John Glenn’s Birthday” 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. COSI will present “The Incredible Human Machine”. Learn what it takes to keep a body engine in tip-top shape. Ages 8 – 12. Reservations required
Monday, November 28 – 5:30 – 8:00 Christmas Open House – Everyone is invited in to the Glenn home the evening of the New Concord Christmas Parade to see the beautiful tree with Lionel train as John Glenn would have enjoyed when he was growing up in the village in the 1930’s and 1940’s. Historic Site volunteers will be serving hot chocolate and cookies on the front porch.

Sunday, December 4 – 1 – 4 p.m. Christmas Open House – Bring the family for an afternoon of fun and enjoy the beautifully adorned trees throughout the museum which have been donated by friends of the community. Special holiday music will be performed by JG Company and spinning demonstrations will be going on throughout the afternoon. Make and take projects will include pinecone birdfeeders, buckeye necklaces and decorating sugar cookies. Enjoy the holiday refreshments including roasted chestnuts.
